Tarivid® (Ofloxacin) is a Fluoroquinolone antibiotic prescribed to adults in bacterial infections due to ofloxacin-susceptible micro-organisms including Pyelonephritis, Prostatitis, Epididymitis, Orchitis, and Pelvic inflammatory disease. Ofloxacin may be used as an alternative to other usual anti-infectives in Uncomplicated cystitis and urethral infections, Complicated skin and soft-tissue infections, Bone and joint infections, Acute sinusitis, Acute exacerbation of chronic bronchitis, community-acquired pneumonia and in prevention of infections due to ofloxacin susceptible pathogens.
